Browse the ClawHub skill catalog and manage custom skills for your bots

Skills

Skills are pre-built AI capabilities you can add to your bots. The ClawHub catalog offers 100+ skills across multiple categories.

Browsing the ClawHub Catalog

Navigate to Skills in the sidebar to access the catalog.

Search and Filter

  • Search bar — Filter skills by name or description
  • Category buttons — Filter by category (each shows skill count):
    • General, Productivity, Development, Customer Support, Education
    • Entertainment, Social Media, E-commerce, Health, Finance
    • Marketing, Analytics, Security, Utilities, and more

Skill Cards

Each skill card displays:

  • Icon — Visual identifier
  • Name — Skill title
  • Category — Which category it belongs to
  • Popularity — Usage score (0-100)
  • API Key badge — Shows if the skill requires an API key
  • CLI Tools badge — Shows if external CLI tools are needed

Skill Detail Dialog

Click any skill card to open its detail dialog showing:

  • Full description of what the skill does
  • Category and popularity score
  • Skill ID — Copyable identifier for referencing
  • Required API Keys — Which API keys must be configured
  • Required CLI Tools — External tools the skill depends on
  • Homepage link — Link to skill documentation or source

Custom Skills

Beyond the ClawHub catalog, you can create your own custom skills.

Creating a Custom Skill

  1. Navigate to your bot's Skills tab
  2. Click Create Custom Skill
  3. Define the skill's name, description, and behavior
  4. Configure any required parameters
  5. Save and add to your bot

Managing Custom Skills

  • Edit — Update skill configuration and behavior
  • Remove — Delete custom skills you no longer need
  • Custom skills are scoped to your account

Adding Skills to a Bot

Skills are added to bots through the bot detail page:

  1. Navigate to Bots → select your bot
  2. Click the Skills tab
  3. Browse available skills from the catalog or your custom skills
  4. Add desired skills to the bot
  5. Restart the bot for changes to take effect

Bot must be restarted after adding or removing skills for changes to take effect.
